The Purchasing Process

Thank you for your interest in a Bright Doxies puppy. We work very hard to produce the best quality puppies, and therefore want the best homes for our puppies. As the process varies from one breeder to the next, let’s walk through the steps to purchase a Bright Doxies puppy. |

Step 1: Fill out an application. Approved applicants have the option of joining the Paid Waitlist or simply being pre-approved.
Step 2: Join the Paid Waitlist. Full details about the paid waitlist below. This is the recommended option to ensure you don't miss out on your perfect puppy. The price to join is $200 and it goes toward the puppy purchase price. We accept PayPal, Venmo, ApplePay, Zelle or check.
Step 3: Watch the website for updates. Visit our Planned Breedings tab to see upcoming pairings, who has been bred, who has been confirmed pregnant, etc. We'll also update the website when we we have new litters arrive.
Step 4: We will reach out to you when we have puppies available that meet your search criteria. You'll have 24 hours to respond letting us know whether you'd like to purchase or pass.
Purchase: You'll submit an additional $300 to bring your total deposit up to $500. This will hold your puppy until
he or she is 9 weeks old and ready to go.
Pass: Not the right puppy? Not the right time? No problem, just let us know within the 24 hour window. We'll
reach out to you next time we have a puppy (or puppies) that meet your search criteria.
Step 5: Enjoy pictures and videos of your puppy while still here with us. We take new photos every other week, typically on Sundays. We do allow visitors by appointment once puppies are six weeks of age.
Step 6: Pick your puppy up at 9-10 weeks of age. The balance due may be paid via the above listed electronic methods, or cash. Please no checks at pick up.
We encourage folks to pick up their new puppy at our home so that they can meet us, see where the puppies are raised, interact with the litter and meet the puppy's parents. We also can meet buyers at the Greensboro airport (no charge), meet buyers at Raleigh Durham airport ($100) or send puppy with a flight nanny to the airport nearest you (cost varies, ask for estimate).

Two Options for Approved Applicants
1) Priority Waiting List. $200 fee required to hold your place in line for the exact puppy you want. This is the best option for folks that
By signing up for the Priority Waiting List you agree to the following conditions:
1) The $200 fee to be on this Priority List is non-refundable**. It can be paid via Venmo, PayPal, ApplePay, Zelle or check.
2) You will be notified via email when a puppy that fits your specifications becomes available. We will notify those in the order that the $200 fee is received. Example: If Jenn, Courtney and Landon all want a longhair cream female, then the person who sent their fee first will receive first choice.
3) Once contacted regarding a puppy you will then have 24 hours to decide if you want that puppy.
4) Once you choose a puppy then the $200 waiting list fee will convert to a non-refundable deposit for that puppy and goes towards the total purchase price. You will also be asked to pay an additional $300 at that point, bringing the total deposit price to $500.
**If one year passes and I have not produced a puppy that meets your criteria, you would have the option to have your deposit refunded. If you have passed on any puppies during the year that did meet your criteria, the deposit will not be refunded. Not producing a puppy that meets your search criteria is the ONLY circumstance in which money would be refunded. To be very clear, refunds will not be given if you purchase a puppy from a different breeder, change your mind, have something come up, etc.
**In the event that a buyer backs out on purchasing a puppy after the $500 deposit has been placed, $200 of the deposit is forfeited. The remaining $300 is transferable to a future litter. No refunds will be given.

- are willing to wait up to one year for their perfect puppy
- understand the total purchase price for a puppy is $2,500 - $3,000 with creams and dapples being at the high end. Pre-Paid AKC Limited Registration included (pet only, no breeding rights)
