This lovely lady is Purna, formerly known as Entanglement from the Quantum Physics litter. She's just over a year old and is looking for a permanent placement. Purna is an absolute lovebug and really enjoys getting attention. She will follow me from room to room just to be near me. When I take her to work with me at the vet clinic, she enjoys getting attention from all my co-workers. She can sometimes take a bit to warm up to new people, though sometimes she decides she loves new people straight away. Purna is scared of children, so she's looking for an adult only home.
We retained Purna with the intention of using her in our breeding program, but things did not work out as I'd hoped. She developed cherry eye (prolapsed nictitating membrane) of her left eye and had surgery to repair it. As a complication of the surgery, she developed neurogenic KCS. So now she is on eye medication long term, potentially for her lifetime. She's a wonderful patient though, and tolerates her medication being applied with no fuss.
Purna is crate trained, and very clean and quiet in her crate. She enjoys sleeping in bed with us at night when given the opportunity. She is wonderful with other dogs, gets along well with everyone. She has not been around cats at all, so that is an unknown.

This little gem of a pup comes to us from Fairhaven Dachshunds. Her pedigree is half American, half Russian. Batura is a strong, independent little girl who has places to be and things to do! Batura Sar, also referred to as Batura I, is the 25th-highest mountain on Earth and the 10th-highest in Pakistan.

Batura is a confident and independent three-year-old girl who has a delightfully cat-like demeanor. She isn't timid around strangers, but she definitely prefers to interact on her own terms—seeking out affection when she desires it and occasionally turning her head away if flooded with too many kisses! She isn't much of a snuggler, making her a wonderful fit for someone who appreciates a self-assured, independent companion. Batura is scheduled to retire at the end of December, though she may be available sooner if her recent breeding does not result in a pregnancy.
In the home, Batura gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She is super social with loving with the other dogs, and would really thrive in a home with other dogs. She has had some exposure to children, more so as a youngster, and did just fine with them. She has never been around cats, so her compatibility with them is unknown. She is clean and quiet in her crate, though given the opportunity, she loves sleeping right in bed with her humans. Additionally, Batura has had minimal leash training and is not particularly food-motivated, so ongoing training will require patience and creative positive reinforcement.

This pretty girl was "Shake It Off' from the Taylor Swift litter. She's a half sister to Agio, both out of Massey. Her dad is Thorin, a Kit son. So she is third generation Bright Doxies breeding on on her dam's side, and second generation Bright Doxies breeding on her sire's side. Kangchenjunga is named after the third highest mountain in the world, located in Asia.

Meet Junga, an absolute romantic who four years old and ready to spend her days as your most devoted shadow. She would happily sit in your lap and gaze into your eyes all day long. While she can be a bit cautious around unfamiliar faces at first, her deeply affectionate nature quickly shines through once she feels secure. She already has basic on-leash experience under her belt and is looking forward to her retirement starting in mid-December after her final litter departs.
Because of her more timid nature, she would do best in an adult-only household. Junga has never encountered cats, so her response to them is unknown. She is calm, quiet, and clean in her crate, but given the choice, her absolute favorite place to sleep is tucked into bed right alongside her humans. Junga is accustomed to our specific household routine, so moving into a new home will naturally involve a transition period. Because she is used to doing her business in a fenced yard, learning to go while on a leash will be a new habit to practice. To help her settle in smoothly, plan to treat her like a brand-new puppy at first by keeping a structured feeding schedule, offering frequent opportunities to go outside with plenty of positive praise, keeping a close eye on her movements, and using a crate when you can't offer full supervision.

Suvi was formerly known as Searcher from our 1st Kentucky Derby litter. Her parents are Oola and Kit. Suvi reminds us so much of her granddam Sahara! Sunni, one of our other favorite retired girls, is her great granddam. This little blondie is shy meeting new people, but a very sweet and loving girl. Suvi is named after Mount Vesuvius, a stratovolcano in Italy.

Her walking experience has primarily been on quiet country trails and secluded paths, so she will benefit from a gentle, patient introduction if transitioning to busy traffic or crowded neighborhood streets. She is treat-motivated, eager to please, and very easy to train.
In the home, Suvi gets along well with other dogs. She is a bit more on the dominant side. She has had minimal exposure to children and has never been around cats, so her compatibility with them is unknown. She is clean and quiet in her crate, though given the opportunity, she loves nothing more than sleeping right in bed with her humans. Suvi is housebroken to our specific daily schedule, but like any dog transitioning to a new environment, please expect an adjustment period and a few initial accidents.
