Brava is our lovely Russian import from the well known Daks-Veg-As kennel that has produced many champions. She is a granddaughter of Mushi, one of my favorite dogs. Brava is our resident acrobatic clown- inquisitive, athletic, smart and silly. Personality plus, and markings that really make her stand out. Brava is one of our few dogs that does not have a mountain name, as she already had a name when I purchased her.
Brava just turned four years old. She had her final litter with us and is available to a permanent loving family to live out her days being spoiled and pampered. As mentioned above, Brava is personality plus! She will 'chat' with you, and her nickname here is "Squeakers." She can be reserved with new people, but bonds very tightly with her people. She is fully crate trained, but also enjoys sleeping in bed with her human family members if given the opportunity.
Brava is a hunter and will go after small game, so she will need a home with a fenced yard. She enjoys lounging outside, so I don't feel like leash walks would be enough for her, and she is definitely not a dog that would stay home if left outside without a fence.
Things Brava does not like: kids, and some other dogs. At our house, she has a select few dogs she likes and plays well with, but is very chippy with many of the other girls in our pack. When they get riled up, this simmering dislike will turn into a full on fight. So Brava is looking for a home with no kids for sure, and probably would do best in a home as an only dog, or with perhaps one male dog. If going to a home with another male dog, plan on it taking her a while to get comfortable with him.
Brava will be getting spayed in June after her litter is weaned, and will be available after she heals. She is priced at $1,000. No shipping available; interested parties must be willing to drive her to meet Brava in person before purchase. Approved application required.

Formerly known as "Tasha" from the Gene Roddenberry Litter, out of Makalu and by Kit. Named after Mount Tolima, a volcano in the Cordillera Central of the Andes Mountains, west-central Colombia.
Tolima is 8 months old. We kept her in the hopes of having her be part of our breeding program, but unfortunately she is not as confident as what we need. Tolima is very shy and reserved. If she is scared, she will run. She has NEVER offered to bite or so much as growl, even with strangers. She's fine if someone she knows passes her to a stranger, she will just freeze, so she is great at situations like going to the vet. But again, given the opportunity, she will run away. Crate trained; very clean and quiet. Sits politely for nail trims and brushing; used to being handled. Loves other dogs!! Gets along great with all the other dogs, loves to play. Enjoys playing with toys too. She's never been around cats. She would do best in a quiet home with patient adults. No children, please. Fenced yard strongly recommended! Toli is already spayed.
