Presto chango! May we present our magic color changing puppy, Callia! A red dapple carrying cream, she has done quite the color shift from her vibrant dapples as a newborn to the bright copper she is now. In addition to her color changing, she's also a master escape artist Houdini dog. Its never boring with Callia around! She's from our Sahara x Kazbek breeding and named after Kolyma upland, a mountain tract in Russia. She kept her 'Asmiov' themed litter name of Callia as well.

Ziza hails from Prairiedox in Quesnel, British Columbia. Look at the chest on this girl! And of course, you can't miss her striking coloration and stunning blue eye. Ziza is as sweet as she is pretty, and never tires of giving kisses. I had loved Ziza's dam, Pebbles, for years before having the opportunity to purchase one of her puppies. Ziza is named after Mount Edziza, a stratovolcano in the Stikine Country of northwestern British Columbia, Canada.

The Notorious B.I.G, aka Biggie, homebred girl out of Vesper and Kit. This tiny cream dapple girl has been capturing hearts since she was just a tiny wee pup, with her dam's enthusiasm for life and extra happy demeanor. The saying 'the tail wags the dog' fits Biggie perfectly. Her litter name was Biggie, so sticking with that call name, we went with the registered name Big Rock Candy Mountain to fit in with our theme of naming our dogs after mountains.

The beautiful little Delphi comes to us from Texas. We just love her ticking and spunky personality. In keeping with our mountain naming theme, she is named after the Delphi mountainous village located on the mountain slopes of Parnassus in Greece. She's affectionately known as "Squirrel" most of the time.

Agio is our fourth generation red here: Sunni, Bikku, Massey, and now Agio. This is such a great line of dogs, we couldn't resist keeping this good girl. Agio is from the "George Harrison" Massey x Toa litter; her litter name was Here Comes the Sun. She is wise and mature puppy, super laid back and sweet. Agiocochook is the Native American name for Mount Washington.

Dhaula is another one of our homebred girls. Her mom is Bikku, sire is Kit. Tiny as can be, she is named after the seventh highest mountain in the world, Dhaulagiri, which is in the Himalayas. Dhaula was originally known as "IOS" from our "Apple" litter. Dhaula is a lovebug, both with people and the other dogs. She gets along great with everyone and makes a great puppy sitter.

Sunni, one of our other favorite retired girls, is her great granddam. This little blondie is shy meeting new people, but a very sweet and loving girl. Suvi is named after Mount Vesuvius, a stratovolcano in Italy.

When a dachshund breeder in NC, Quinn's Dachshunds, was closing up shop in early 2024, we went to meet the dogs for sale. We were very surprised to find Chloe, who is a Sahara grand daughter! We immediately fell in love with Chloe, and purchased her and her adult daughter, Opal. Chloe reminds us so much of our girl, Sahara. She is happy and confident, calm and quiet, and manages to stay out of mischief. Chloe is just the best! Of course she knows the name Chloe from her previous owner, so she does not have a mountain name.

Opal joined our pack in January 2024, along with her dam Chloe. Opal is a Sahara great grand pup, and a Thomas great grand daughter! Love the pedigree on this girl, which also includes many Stoneriver dogs. Opal is very laid back and quiet. She loves sun bathing and getting belly rubs. Opal was named prior to coming to join our pack, so that is why she doesn't have a mountain name.

Haku was formerly known as Claudette Colbert, from our DeMille litter. We are so proud to have bred such a lovely girl; she has stellar conformation. Yes, she really is a dapple! The creams don't really show their spots as adults though. Haku is a half sister to Tilde. Mount Haku, her namesake, is a dormant stratovolcano in Japan, one of the the Three Holy Mountains.
